The FEI600’s primary attribute is its ability to slice through very hard, compact cheese such as parmesan and romano, while still accurately generating the required cut weight provided consistent product densities. As with all FEI600 Series industrial equipment, the FEI600 incorporates both horizontal and vertical cutting actions. Constructed of stainless steel and UHMW, these components provide 3A Compliance recognition of direct food handling.

The unit can be easily disassembled to an open frame for quick and thorough wash down operations.

The FEI600 utilizes both wire and blade harps depending on your needs. Wire harps can veneer a wheel of cheese better than the stacked blades, which instead give a greater finish to wedge cuts. The push plate and harps have been designed for quick change-over between products. The remote operator stand is not obstructive because it is located away from the primary unit. This station allows the operator to safely energize the cutting processes and reset the unit for the next cycle. Quickly removable safety-interlocked clear lexan guarding keeps operators safe and informed of equipment operation.

The quick-change pin-release system greatly reduces product changeovers.
